HIPRAGUMBORO-BPL2

HIPRAGUMBORO BPL2

Inactivated vaccine against Gumboro disease and Newcastle disease, in injectable emulsion

COMPOSITION PER DOSE:

Inactivated Newcastle Disease Virus, strain La Sota, HAI 1/16 Inactivated Gumboro Disease Virus, strain W2512, ELISA 357 The need to vaccinate breeding hens with adjuvanted vaccines against Gumboro Disease has already been discussed over the last few years since it is very important to be able to increase immunity against this disease in offspring. Studies carried out have determined that the best age for using adjuvanted Gumboro vaccines is the period before laying. Normally, hens are also vaccinated against Newcastle Disease before laying by using adjuvanted vaccines to increase immunity during a large part of the productive period of the bird. Bearing this in mind and given that handling is very important in aviculture, we believe it is convenient and of great interest to be able to immunise simultaneously against Gumboro and Newcastle Diseases, using a duly adjuvanted mixed vaccine which contains both antigens. In this way we can simplify the vaccination programme chosen and reduce both labour costs and the habitual stress in layers and breeders.
