HIPRABOVIS 3

Trivalent inactivated vaccine against IBR, PI3 and BVD viruses, in injectable suspension

COMPOSITION:

Inactivated viruses of IBR, PI3 and BVD. HIPRABOVIS 3 is a trivalent vaccine that induces active immunity against the IBR, BVD and PI3 viruses to prevent Bovine respiratory syndrome and the reproductive failure associated with the IBR and BVD viruses (infertility, abortion and infectious pustular vulvovaginitis).

INDICATIONS:

Adult cattle (Cows and Heifers): To prevent Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), Infectious pustular vulvovaginitis (IPV) and Bovine viral diarrhea (including the Disease of the mucosas) (BVD). Calves: To prevent Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), Parain‑uenza 3 (PI3) and Bovine viral diarrhea (including the Disease of the mucosas) (BVD).

DOSAGE:

Cattle (Calves, Cows and Heifers): 3 ml/cattle from 4-6 weeks of age, for all weights and ages.

ADMINISTRATION ROUTE AND FORM:

Intramuscular, into the neck muscles; or subcutaneous, into the dewlap.

ORIENTATIONAL VACCINATION PROGRAMME:

Calves: Vaccinate wtih one dose. Revaccinate 21-30 days later, especially when very young calves are vaccinated. Administer a booster vaccination once a year.

Cows: Vaccinate with one dose. Revaccinate 21-30 days later. Administer a booster vaccination once a year.

Heifers: Vaccinate with one dose. Revaccinate 21-30 days later, one month before the ­rst mating. Administer a booster vaccination once a year.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:

- Vaccinate only healthy animals.

- Use sterile material when administering.

- Use the vaccine immediately after the container has been opened.

- Administer the vaccine at a temperature between +15 and + 25 ºC.

- Shake before use.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:

A sporadic anaphylactic reaction may appear in some sensitive animal. In such a case administer epinephrine or a similar drug.

USE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:

Can be administered at any time during pregnancy and lactation.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

0 days.

If you are accidentally injected with this product, seek prompt medical advice and take the package lea‑et with you.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE:

Store in a dark place between +2 and +8 ºC. Do not freeze.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF UNUSED MEDICINAL PRODUCT

OR WASTE MATERIALS, IF ANY:

Any unused veterinary medicinal product or waste materials derived from such veterinary medicinal products should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
